A day to reckon our partnership with Appalachian State University, North Carolina, USA.
Students Exchange Program – 8th - 14th March 2008, to inculcate socio-educational paradigms
between India & USA, as well as to encourage the Indian Counterparts

(Students) of IAA to venture into the diverse cultures of the globe.
The Cultural Exchange between Indo Asian Academy and the Appalachian State University, USA was a memorable one in the annals of the college
Mr. Ajith Kumar – Designation, fron Hyderabad delivered a lecture on Indian Heritage & Culture on 10th March 2008, which was indeed admired by all.
Dr. STR Raja delivered a lecture on the essence of Indian Heritage & Culture on 11th March 2008.
We are Proud to enlighten

the students & Faculty from ASU, USA to know about our heritage & culture.
We had a gala cultural program on 12th March 2008, in which our students & students of ASU took part in the cultural event.
We have also signed an MOU with AB Tech Community College, Ashville, USA for furthering our partnership in computer science discipline, as well, for other associate program of student exchange for various associate diploma programs.

Independence Day:

Great men like Swamy Vivekananda, Rabindranath Tagore, Mahatma Gandhi,
Saravepalli Radhakrishnan, effected the integration of mind, body and soul
thorough their wise words, which delivered the message of peace and love.
India in her struggle for freedom was fortunate to have been under the
auspices of such luminaries. India attained her Independence on August 15th 1947.
On 15th of August 2007, the Independence Day was celebrated with all pomp and
grandeur and the flag was hoisted by Prof. T. Ekambaram Naidu,
Principal-Chairman-Managing Trustee in the presence of faculty and students.

Ecstasy 2007:

Ecstasy – a celebration of those who inspire extra-ordinary performance, who
are driven by the thrill of innovation
The showers of blessings & the fragrance of Ecstasy sprinkled on Indo Asian
Academy Group of Institutions on Friday and Saturday the 21st and 22nd
September 2007 to explore and exhibit the hidden talents of the students.
The ebullient character of the students reached its culmination by their
stimulant performances led that led them to see triumph as they allured
the spectators by savoring their youthfulness.
The whole journey was carried out with all zeal and enthusiasm, which
experienced a feeling of overflowing joy on both the days, the reminiscence
of which will be evergreen in all our hearts till the next auspicious Ecstasy
2008 emerges.
The apple of the eye of the audience was set soothing as they witnessed the
participants decked with their traditional outfits signifying their diverse
cultures & traditions. It was an awesome presentation of the students representing 16 countries of
the world.

Kannada Rajyothsava Day:

Late Devaraja Urs the then Chief Minister of the State of Karnataka took this
landmark decision and officially the new State was formed on November 1st 1973.
The word Rajyotsava or Karnataka Rajyotsava means "BIRTH OF A STATE" which
is celebrated with all pomp and grandeur to reckon the birth of the State of
Karnataka.
The Kannada Rajyothsava day was celebrated with all pomp on November 16th 2007.
The Chief Guest of which was Dr. K.V. Chandranna Gowda, the Guest of Honour
Janapada Kalarathna Alur Nagappa.

Sports:

Everyone of us is subject to stress, to release stress we need some activities
which will relax us. Sports is one of the paradigms, wherein we are compelled to
do some exercises to make our body fit and to be able to do something better.
Extra curricular activities is a part and parcel of the academic curriculum and
hence we encourage sports and the winners of various events will be participating
in the inter-collegiate and inter-university competitions.
The Annual Sports Meet was held at ITI Grounds on 18th January 2008. Students
responded positively to the challenges ahead of them were awarded medals and
certificates for their success in various events.
Vimal Raj, the student of I year B.Com, is selected as
foot-ball player at
University level.
Gerald Rakesh Mohan, the student of I year B.A. Journalism,
has won the
First Place in the inter-collegiate level and inter-university
level in Boxing. Our college Basket ball team reached semi-finals in the
inter-collegiate competition conducted by Bangalore University. Our college
the throw ball
girls team were Winners in the inter-collegiate event conducted
by Bangalore University.

Republic Day:

On the 26th of January 1950, the constitution of India came into force and India became
a truly sovereign state and a totally republican unit, linguistic provinces took its
birth. The dream of Mahatma Gandhi became a reality.
The Republic Day was celebrated on 26th January 2008 in the college quadrangle.
The flag was hoisted by Prof. Dr. Raja, Director-Academics.

Annual Day:

Simplicity and humility are the signs of perfection.
Let this presence settle into our bones, and allow our souls the freedom to
sing, to dance, to praise and to love.
It was a great occasion for us to celebrate with all fun and frolic the first
college annual day on Wednesday the 12.03.2008. The Chief Guest Dr. Ali Khwaja,
Director, Banjara Academy and Guest of Honour Dr. Sandeep Shastri,
Director-International Academy of Creative Teaching.
